Hello! Thank you for visiting our site! The Take-A-Break Center (TAB) is designed to fill the need for caregivers to have a temporary respite facillity.

Our mission is to provide a day time non-medical social environment for adults, ages 18 and up, who are under someone else's care.

TAB is a non-profit organization offering a non-medical social program for caregivers to utilize in order to run errands, keep  appointments, go to the spa or golf course, and take time for themselves. Studies show that knowing that a loved one is in a safe caring environmnet while they are away may lower a caregiver's stress level, not to mention the actual time away.

TAB can accept adults (18 and up) who do not need medical assistance such as blood pressure crashng. We can accept adults who have early stage dementia or Alzhiemer's (but don't wander), mid to high functing autism, etc,
